  • Referrals to social services including Alcoholics Anonymous and Traveler's Aid

Pastors and volunteers are available to counsel and pray with clients; an opportunity welcomed by those in need of encouragement and kindness.


First Presbyterian Church of Pittsburgh serves our neighbors in need through a cooperative Walk-In Ministry program comprised of five downtown churches: Trinity Cathedral, Smithfield United Church of Christ, First Lutheran Church, and St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church. Churches provide services according to their means and cooperatively rotate weeks throughout the year.


FPCP works in conjunction with the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
