Laughlin Window: Lower Half

This window depicts Christ blessing the children. The Savior is seated, arms extended, and the children are happy in His love.

  

        "Then people brought little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them and pray for them. But the disciples rebuked them. Jesus said, 'Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these."

The Laughlin Window was a gift of Mrs. James Laughlin, Jr. and Mrs. Duncan C. Phillips in memory of James Laughlin (1806-1892) and Anne Irwin Laughlin (1813-1891).

Laughlin Window: Upper Half

This window depicts the Angel of the Nativity who appears to the shepherds at Jesus' birth.


        "And an angel of the Lord appeared to the shepherds and the glory of the Lord shone around them."

-Luke 2:9


Jesus, the Light of the World, has come, and the Angel is His herald.


        "Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."

-Isaiah 60:1
